We are a nonprofit organization with a focus on helping the animals in our community through education and financial assistance for needed services.

Our Mission:

To prevent cruelty to animals, to help relieve suffering among animals, and to provide education in the humane treatment of animals.

Our Services:

• Emergency Aid
• Spay and neuter assistance programs for pets and shelter animals
• TNR assistance (for feral cats)
• Education
• Guidance in reporting suspected animal cruelty or neglect

Because we are committed to Helping People Help Animals countywide, our services are for Nacogdoches County residents only, valid at a Nacogdoches County veterinarian of their choice; and are offered at the discretion of the Humane Society of Nacogdoches County.

Nacogdoches Humane Society is a non-profit organization
and is not the same entity as the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter,
which is run by the city of Nacogdoches.
